The New York Knicks were playing a playoff game against the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden (MSG). Reggie Miller, a former Pacers legend known for his clutch performances against the Knicks, was calling the game as a commentator for TNT. Knicks fans have a long history of disliking Reggie Miller due to his past playoff success against their team.

Throughout the game, Knicks fans erupted in loud chants of “F— you, Reggie!”

Next, during a free throw, Knicks player Josh Hart walked over to the broadcast table where Miller was seated. Leaning down, Hart jokingly said to Miller (likely because the microphone picked it up), “I don’t know if you heard, but I think they’re saying, ‘F— you.'”

And, the REST IS HISTORY. Josh Hart’s exchange with Reggie Miller went viral.

The Knicks and Pacers are currently in the thick of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series! The Knicks hold a 2-0 lead after winning a hard-fought game 2 at Madison Square Garden on May 8.

It was a close game throughout, with the Pacers even leading early in the fourth quarter. The Knicks turned up the defensive intensity in the final stretch by limiting the Pacers’ scoring opportunities. Knicks’ star guard Jalen Brunson led the scoring with 31 points. The Pacers’ Tyrese Halliburton was their top scorer with 25 points.

Next, the Pacers host the Knicks on May 10 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Games 4 and 5 will alternate between Indiana and New York depending on whether the Knicks win one or both games at Indianapolis.
