Colin Cowherd is paid for his opinions on the world of sport and there has been one particular topic that has irked the veteran media personality.
The Fox Sports analyst finds himself in the midst of a back-and-forth with former NBA player and podcaster JJ Redick over his attire and choice of clothing. Cowherd was critical of Redick’s appearance on a recent podcast with LeBron James where he wore a backwards hat.

This is not the first time Cowherd has gone after a professional athlete for the backwards hat look and previously blasted quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Brock Purdy for similar fashion choices.
Redick laughed off the initial jabs from Cowherd but the television personality refuses to back down and doubled down on a recent episode of The Herd.

“Pretty soon hat on backwards becomes flip flops and board shorts to work. Standards are standards…To turn your life around, you have to first turn your hat around,” said Cowherd.
Redick was a standout player at Duke and had success in the NBA over a 15-year career that saw him play with the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks.
Colin Cowherd did go on to say the former Duke Blue Devils star has a great future ahead of him. Redick is rumored to be in running for the Los Angeles Lakers job and has been previously linked with other roles in the NBA.
