During his heyday, forward Vince Carter was considered one of the most dominant and dangerous basketball players to ever grace the court. Known for his extravagant dunks, some people may forget that Carter was also an eight-time All-Star and represented Team USA at the 2000 Olympics. He was named the Rookie of the Year in 1999 and was won the Slam Dunk Contest the following year.
After a long wait, Vince Carter is set to finally be inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall Of Fame as part of the 2024 class in October. The 47-year-old also announced that he will have a familiar face alongside him for the special moment. During a recent episode of the Run It Back, Carter revealed that former teammate Tracy McGrady will be there to induct him to the Hall Of Fame.
“I can confirm T-Mac will be there," said Carter. “He was like ‘Hell yeah, I was waiting for you to call me!'"
