The former Atlanta Falcons linebacker, Bud Dupree is reportedly signing with the Los Angeles Chargers. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the prominent veteran linebacker will spearhead his next NFL season with the Jim Harbaugh led Chargers.

As per NFL Network, the Chargers have acquired Dupree with a two-year $6 million deal which is worth up t0 $10 million on maximum value via NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. Dupree was one of the top-notch talents on the Falcons defense last season and participated in many prominent plays. He posted 6.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and his quarterback hits were eight including three passes defended and two forced fumbles. He played in sixteen games.
The impressive linebacker was picked up in the 2015 NFL Draft in the first round as the 22nd pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers with whom he played till 2020. He then joined the Tennessee Titans and played with them from 2021 to 2022.
Dupree now joins the squad who have two top prospects considering the position, four-time Pro Bowl Joey Bosa and eight-time Pro Bowl veteran Khalil Mack. Another incredible prospect the Chargers have is Tuli Tuipulotu who played well last season when Bosa was absent for eight games.
