Right after Game 4, Wolves star, Ant-Man and Nuggets star Jamal Murray was caught on camera exchanging some words before going their separate ways.
In the aftermath of the game, during the press conference, Edwards was asked about the postgame exchange, and he shared with reporters what was said.
“I just told his ass, We love that, keep talking that, that’s what we like. At least, I love it. He didn’t say nothing back, but I’m pretty sure he heard me. They heard me. We live for that.”
The 22-year-old led the Game 4 with 44 points, while the league MVP Nikola Jokic led the charge for the visitors with 35 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
Game 5 will be back at the Mile High City, Denver will be attempting to become just the fifth team in league history to win a series after going down 2–0 with both losses coming at home.
In Game 4, Minnesota shot 48% from the floor but only made 67% of their free throws, even after Edwards scored a new playoff career-high 44 points, it wasn’t enough to carry Minnesota to a victory.
