In Sunday night’s Game 4 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Anthony Edwards put on another sensational show for the Minnesota Timberwolves by finishing with 44 points.
Timberwolves star Edwards ended the game with 44 points on 16-of-25 shooting for his third 40-point game of the postseason. In the first three quarters alone he had 37 and added five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block.

The 22-year-old, Edwards made history with another 40-point game, while the Wolves suffered a loss in Game 4, falling to the Nuggets and tying the series at 2-2.
The TNT broadcast revealed he had passed Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Amar’e Stoudemire for the second-most 40-point games in the playoffs at age 22 or younger. With his fourth such game, Edwards is now behind just Luka Doncic, who had five such games before turning 23.
Nicknamed the Ant-Man, Edwards is already locked in and all prepared for Game 5, he shared in the Game 4 post-game press conference,
“I don’t think they got any momentum. At this point, it’s just whoever wins two games. We’re competing at the highest level, If we played tomorrow, I’d be ready.”
The Wolves dropped both of their home games after taking the first two games of the series in Denver, Game 5 of the series goes back to Denver, it is now a three-game series with two of those set to be played in Denver.
In another eye-catching moment of Game 4, Edwards and Jamal Murray engaged in a heated postgame exchange, following the Nuggets’ pivotal Game 4 win.
After the game, he shared what was exchanged with Murray,
“I just told his ass, we love that keep talkin’ that, that’s what we like.”
