Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of a historic three-peat but the road ahead will not be easy.
The opponent for the Chiefs season opener has been announced with the defending champions set to face the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
Led by reigning MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, the Ravens will be looking for some payback against the team that knocked them out in the AFC championship last season. The Ravens finished the season with an NFL-best 13-4 records, but were eventually eliminated by the Chiefs in a tightly-contested 17-10 matchup in the playoffs.
The game will be broadcast on NBC on Thursday, September 5.
