The absence of her graduation wasn’t the only notable event in Clark’s life recently. The highly anticipated No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Clark brings with her a stellar collegiate career from the University of Iowa.
During her time at Iowa, Clark proved herself as one of the most formidable players in college basketball history.
Averaging an impressive 28.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game over four seasons, she etched her name as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer.
Despite narrowly missing out on national titles in both 2022 and 2023, her leadership and skill on the court were undeniable.
Now, with her college career behind her, Clark sets her sights on making a splash in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever.
In her pre-season debut, she showcased her scoring prowess by dropping 21 points. In the subsequent game, she demonstrated her versatility with 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
As the regular season approaches, Clark and the Fever are gearing up for their opening game against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday.
With Clark’s talent and determination, her graduation celebration might just be the first of many milestones she achieves in her professional basketball career.
