Former Green Bay Packer and Kansas City Chiefs player Marquez Valdes-Scantling is once again on the move with the Buffalo Bills interested in bringing the wide receiver to western New York.
According a recent post on X from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the 29-year-old will visit Buffalo on Tuesday as the two parties reach the final stages of negotiations. A recent piece from ESPN also confirmed the reports with a source telling Adam Schefter that a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million was expected.

Valdez-Scantling was a fifth round pick out of South Florida and has appeared in 103 regular season and playoff games over six season in the NFL. Over his career, he has racked up 3155 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in the regular season.
The receiver was also a part of the Chiefs Super Bowl winning teams in 2022 and 2023.
The Bills are in need of reinforcements at the position after Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans and Gabe Davis signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Buffalo also picked up free agents Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins and also added Florida State star Keon Coleman in the NFL draft to provide some much-needed depth for quarterback Josh Allen.
The Bills finished 11-6 last season to win the AFC East but after an offseason that saw some of their star talent leave it will be interesting to see how the team manages in 2024. Marquez Valdes-Scantling will likely be called on to play a big role in this new-look Bills offense.
