Tom Brady has seemingly decided to go through with his original plan of working for FOX as its top NFL analyst and talk of his return to the field was all but ended.
Brady and FOX NFL Sunday analyst Michael Strahan made a promotional visit on Monday, and it was revealed the first game he will cover would be the Cowboys taking on the Cleveland Browns.
Fresh from a successful Roast, Brady seems keen to dish out some more if the same medicine to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
“Obviously having the Cowboys on is a huge draw, as America’s team,” Brady said. “That’s gonna get a little hard for me to say that all the time. I understand. They were the competition for a long time but in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network. They’ve got great storylines. Come on, Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through.”
His admitted shortly afterwards that the words just slipped out, but it is just that unfiltered talk that FOX will love and leave Cowboys fans revved up.
Comments flooded social media with many supporting Brady’s views and plenty not agreeing.
One thing is certain, Brady will continue to be the centre of attention in the NFL for years to come.
