Micah Parsons will be doing a lot more than starring for the Dallas Cowboys this season as he is named president of B/R Gridiron.
Parsons’ wildly popular YouTube Show The Edge will continue on B/R Gridiron for the foreseeable future.
Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed the news via a statement.
“NFL powerhouse and Dallas Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons has reached a multi-year extension with Bleacher Report that will include his imprint on a variety of projects that span sports and entertainment,” the release read.
Parsons was over the moon at the news and cannot wait to flex his football brainiac muscles on the show.
“Working with Bleacher Report on The Edge has given me the desire to want to share my view of the game even more,” said Parsons.
“Being able to create something dynamic for fans alongside a content team like B/R Gridiron, is a chance for me to flex different muscles than the ones I’m using each week on the field, plus it will just be fun.”
The boost for fans is that Parsons is an active NFL player, a household name and has a deep desire to make original, entertaining content.
He had and will face criticism for his media work alongside his playing duties but that is a risk he and Bleacher Report are willing to take.
