The latest squad to be featured on famed HBO show “Hard Knocks” will be the New York Giants but with a change as the show will focus on offseason elements of the organization.
The novel “Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants” is set to premiere on July 2 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. The network has reportedly announced. The five-part series will be available on Max for online streaming and will feature as the Giants prepare for the upcoming NFL season.

The co-owner of the Giants, John Mara, had earlier expressed that the organization would not entertain the idea of getting filmed; however, now the organization has agreed to a slightly different version of “Hard Knocks”. This step for HBO marks the first time the show will focus on offseason and not on training camp and season, which they usually cover.
The HBO executives Nancy Abraham, Bentley Weiner and Lisa Heller have shared in a statement according to ESPN, “We are beyond thrilled that the New York Giants have opened their doors to the Hard Knocks cameras for the first time ever. The NFL offseason is a fascinating period that we’ve always wanted to explore and we can’t wait to show football fans everywhere what NFL Films has been capturing behind the scenes at the team’s headquarters.”
Nilay Shah who is the senior vice president, marketing and brand strategy of the Giants also mentioned, “As we enter our 100th season, we look forward to providing our fans with the opportunity to see what it takes to build an NFL roster. Beginning the moment the previous season ended, we gave NFL Films unprecedented access to this critical time of the year. We know viewers will gain insight from moments that have never been captured before and are excited for them to learn more about our Giants history.”
The show will feature the Giants under the tutelage of Daniel Jones as the squad gets ready for their 100th NFL season. The viewers will get an insight into all the actions of the Giants during the offseason.
