The NFL and Netflix have reportedly announced their partnership with the latter acquiring two Christmas Day games in 2024 and another Christmas game coming in 2025 and 2026. The partnership between the streaming giant and league moves further along with Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football.
The Chief Content Officer of Netflix, Bela Bajaria shared in her statement as per NBC News, “Last year, we decided to take a big bet on live — tapping into massive fandoms across comedy, reality TV, sports and more. There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
The NFL Executive Vice President of media distribution, Hans Schroeder also mentioned, “We couldn’t be more excited to be the first professional sports league to partner with Netflix to bring live games to fans around the world. The NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans.”

The Houston Texans will host the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium in Week 17 on Christmas Day as cited by multiple reports. The match will once again take the fans back to the AFC Divisional Round of last year which saw rookie sensation C.J. Stroud battling against three-time Pro Bowl and two-time MVP Lamar Jackson.
In the last campaign, the Ravens defeated the Texans twice in their matchups however with Texans adding four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs, defensive end Danielle Hunter, and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, the squad is predicted to maintain their top spot in the coming season.
Whereas as the Ravens are led by prominent league quarterback Lamar Jackson and with newly acquired four-time Pro Bowl running back, Derrick Henry, the Ravens will look forward to adding more amazing feats to their organization with the next NFL season.
