Indiana Fever rookie sensation, Caitlin Clark made a stylish entrance for her WNBA debut game against the Connecticut Sun. She sported a pair of limited-edition Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 Low sneakers.
The sneakers were part of a highly anticipated collaboration between Nike and the luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., marking their first-ever venture together.
While the original retail price was $400, the shoes’ exclusivity has driven their value way up on the resale market, fetching over $1,500 on platforms like StockX.
The sneakers are a twist on the classic Air Force 1 Low design. They feature a black suede upper with a vibrant “Tiffany Blue” swoosh logo crafted from tumbled leather.
The original release included unique sterling silver co-branded accessories from Tiffany & Co., like a shoe horn, a shoe brush, and a whistle.
Recently, Caitlin Clark struck a major endorsement deal with Nike that will pay her handsomely for the next eight years. The reported sum is a significant $28 million over the course of the eight-year contract. A key part of the agreement is that Nike will design a signature shoe line for Clark.
Caitlin Clark’s much-anticipated WNBA debut on Tuesday with the Indiana Fever was a baptism by fire. The No. 1 overall draft pick faced a steep learning curve. Connecticut Sun’s defense stifled her which led to a scoreless first 15 minutes. Two early fouls sent her to the bench.
