Tyrese Haliburton trolls Knicks fans with Reggie Miller choke hoodie after Game 7 victory

In the halls of Madison Square Garden, the Indiana Pacers secured a 130-109 victory in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Semis against the New York Knicks.

With the win, the Pacers recorded the greatest shooting performance by any team in league playoff history, shooting an NBA playoff record 67.1 percent,

The sixth-seeded Pacers advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2014 and will play the top-seeded Boston Celtics in the ECF, starting with Game 1 on Tuesday at TD Garden.

After the game, Tyrese Haliburton made headlines when he was spotted with an epic hoodie in the post-game press conference. It featured a photo of Pacers legend Reggie Miller making his infamous choke gesture from the 1994 Knicks-Pacers series.

When asked about his choice of attire, he said

“We text every day. He’s been a great mentor for me. Wearing a Reggie Miller hoodie just because he wants to be comfy on the plane.”

For context, Miller famously scored 25 points in the fourth quarter of Game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks to help his Indiana team overcome a double-digit deficit and seize a 3-2 series lead.

Meanwhile, Haliburton’s Pacers defeated the Knicks in seven games. He was excellent in the decisive contest with 26 points, six assists, and four rebounds on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and 6-of-12 shooting from deep.

Haliburton also snagged four rebounds, dished out six assists, swiped a steal, and even threw in a block for good measure. His sweatshirt with Reggie Miller’s infamous choking gesture during the postgame press conference was claimed to have been bought two days ago.
