“I’ve got it all” Dalvin Cook Optimistic About NFL Future, Focused on Preparation for Upcoming Season

The four-time Pro Bowl running back of the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens, Dalvin Cook, had earlier stated in April with Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 that he is optimistic regarding his future in the league.

He had stated, “I’ve got it all. The tools are still here. I didn’t really get no reps last year. So, the legs are fresh, so the resume speaks for itself. I’m still Dalvin Cook. I’m still that guy. For me, I don’t like to toot my own horn. I just like to go out there, put my helmet on and line up on the grass.”

Cook further shared that he has been in communication with some other clubs this summer, but no contacts have materialized. The prominent running back also revealed that he has been “taking calls” from the squads. However, he also wants to make sure that he is in the best possible condition to take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves.

He also expressed, as per Pro Football Talk via Aaron Wilson of KPRC, “Just really focusing on myself. Getting ready for training camp, getting ready for what’s coming up next. For me, like you said, patience is the key. Right now the only thing I’m really focusing on is getting myself in tip-top shape to really tote the rock come the fall.”

Cook played in 15 games last season, registering 214 rushing yards, and 78 receiving yards.
