New York Yankees veteran Alex Rodriguez, though no longer in line to be majority owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, was very invested in their recent success. While his bid to be a majority owner fell through, Rodriguez still held a minority stake in the Timberwolves at the time. he Timberwolves were facing the Denver Nuggets, led by MVP Nikola Jokic, in a tough Western Conference playoff series. And, the Timberwolves upset the Nuggets in a thrilling Game 7.

A-Rod was present for the game, likely pumped up throughout the close contest. In the heat of the moment, Rodriguez enthusiastically shouted “Let’s f–king go!” to express his joy.

After the Timberwolves secured the win, Rodriguez was seen celebrating with young star Anthony Edwards.

The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off a historic upset in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. They defeated the defending champion Denver Nuggets 98-90 on the road. This win clinched a trip to the Western Conference Finals for the Timberwolves for the first time since 2004.

Historically, the Timberwolves haven’t been a championship contender for most of their existence. They haven’t reached the NBA Finals and haven’t had many deep playoff runs.

But, this NBA season has been different. he Minnesota Timberwolves are having a fantastic season!

They finished the regular season with a 56-26 record, placing them third in the Western Conference. Coach Chris Finch deserves credit for building a strong defensive identity and maximizing the team’s potential. Karl-Anthony Towns’ Leap has likely developed into an MVP contender. The young star, Anthony Edwards, is blossoming alongside Towns.
