Ben Bredeson, a left guard, served as a team captain last year, which makes him the only returning member from that captain group. Bredeson started 12 games in 2017 missing the Outback Bowl due to injury, and he started all 13 games this past season.
Khaleke Hudson started as the teams Viper linebacker the past two seasons. Hudson will be leaned upon heavily due to the loss of Devin Bush.
Carlo Kemp, a defensive tackle, stepped up as a leader this offseason. Kemp hopes to take on some of the void on the defensive line left by Rashan Gary to the draft.
