Mike Trout to Miss Rest of Season
2182 days ago
The Angels star was originally day to day with this pain. However, Trout will have surgery on his foot to remove the Morton’s neuroma as a result of the tests. The surgery is taking place this week. We are all as fans wishing Trout a speedy recovery.
Prior to his injury, Trout was having a MVP caliber season. His slash line for the year consists of .291/.438/.645. Trout was at a career high for home runs at 45 before the injury. He also had 104 RBIs and amassed a league leading 8.6 WAR. This will open up the door for others in the AL looking for a MVP title. A player worth looking out for would be Astros all star third basemen, Alex Bregman.
