Five Players to Buy Low After Week Three

At this point in the season, fantasy owners are getting frustrated with their high investment picks. Davante Adams hasn’t seen the end zone yet this season. Sony Michel definitely did not pick up where he left off averaging only 2.4 yards per carry. Chris Carson can’t stop fumbling. So, who should you buy at their current lows? Below are five players that you should try to buy while their value is low.

Chris Carson, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Carson is having trouble controlling the football. On top of this, he also has a former first round draft pick right behind him ready to pounce once he loses his job. Carson owners are getting antsy after watching him struggle against the New Orleans Saints and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s still the number one runningback in an offense that loves to run the ball regardless. Carson has gotten at least 16 touches in every single game this season averaging about 19 touches per game. Volume is king in fantasy.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Oakland Raiders

Josh Jacobs exploded week one against the Denver Broncos. Since then, he hasn’t seen the end zone, although he did torch Kansas City on the ground for 99 yards. After a minimal performance against Minnesota, his value is fairly low. Jacobs hasn’t had the receiving upside he was once praised for, but Jon Gruden said he would like to get him involved in the passing game more. Buy him now, or after he faces the powerful Chicago front seven.

Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers

I cannot reiterate enough that Davante Adams is a must buy right now, especially this coming week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Fantasy owners may be down on what is going on with him. It isn’t all his fault. Once the offense picks things up, Davante has a very good shot of returning to his old form and catching a lot of touchdowns. Davante is due for a big week, and that big week can happen Thursday night against the Eagles.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Like many people, I invested a lot into JuJu this fantasy season. He has struggled to get going being the main guy in Pittsburgh. I wouldn’t be too worried about him, but a lot of owners are, especially with Mason Rudolph in at quarterback. Owners can be willing to dump him cheap with Rudolph now at the helm. Take your shot on getting upside WR1 and trade for him. He has a weak remaining schedule as well.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns

Odell and Baker Mayfield are not the combo that fans everywhere expected. People expected this to be a top five wide receiver and a top five quarterback combination. They’ve struggled to get things going thus far, but it is still early in the season. Buy him now before he gets a real strong connection with Baker Mayfield.

Others to Consider: James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers; Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons; Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals.
