The Chicago Blackhawks head into the 2019-20 NHL Season with a lot of new guys on the team after all they did in free agency.

They began their quest back to the playoffs as they faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers in Prague, Czech Republic to start their 2019-20 campaign. The last time the Blackhawks opened the season in Europe was 2009, which was when they ended up winning the Stanley Cup. So many Blackhawks fans hope they keep that same energy heading into 2019-20.
Dominik Kubalik made his NHL debut in his home country of the Czech Republic.

Newly Acquired 21-year-old Alex Nylander scores his first goal of the 2019-20 season 7 minutes into the first period. This is the first time the first Blackhawks goal of the season was scored by a player making his team debut since Artemi Panarin did it in 2015-16

Trying to get back into the game, Dennis Gilbert takes a puck right off his body and puts it into his own net and passed Corey Crawford, Giving the Flyers a 3-1 lead.
Then with 12.2 seconds left in the 2nd period, Kane drives down the ice with the puck in his possession trying to score before the period ends, He finds Alex DeBrincat wide open for the one-timer. One day after signing a 3 year extension, DeBrincat gets on the board for the first time this season.
The 2nd period for the Blackhawks is where they dug themselves in a hole, Getting outshot 16-7 while allowing 20 scoring chances.
