Colby Covington Accuses Ali Abdelaziz of Sexually Assaulting UFC Employee

Colby Covington sat down for a chat with the guys from Submission Radio earlier this week. He discussed his relationship with gym mates Dustin Poirier and Jorge Masvidal as well as UFC president, Dana White.

With Covington booked to face UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 the interview was bound to ruffle some feathers.
Covington and Usman have had multiple heated exchanges and the manager of Usman, Ali Abdelaziz, has been involved as well.

Abdelaziz made headlines this week for allegedly punching another manager at a Professional Fighters League event. This paired with a previous incident where Abdelaziz allegedly attacked Covington has led to Abdelaziz awaiting two battery charges.

Going a step beyond discussing these incidents Covington dropped an unconfirmed bombshell during his interview with Submission Radio.

Colby Covington’s Statement

“Also, I don’t know if you guys, you guys should do your research and do some digging into this, but he also has a sexual assault case against one of the UFC employees for trying to rape one of the UFC employees at an event. You should dig into that and start asking Ali those questions. The guy is a complete scumbag, a dirtbag, and I don’t know how he hasn’t been deported yet,” he continued. “He must have definitely ratted all his friends from Egypt and got them life sentences and must still be giving them informant type information to be getting off all the charges he has gotten off. That guy is literally done everything there is to in the book besides kill somebody that we know of. The guy is a sleazeball and that is that.”

With no charges of sexual assault against Ali Abdelaziz to find this is a dangerous claim to be making without corroboration. Even for someone who enjoys controversy as much as Covington.
