Former Redskin cornerback Kendall Fuller is coming back to our nation’s capital. Fuller has agreed to a four year deal worth roughly $40 million.
Redskins Bring Back Kendall Fuller
Washington traded him to Kansas City in 2018 in the deal that brought Alex Smith to the Redskins. Fuller is a versatile defensive back that was drafted by Dan Snyder in the third round back in 2016.
Kendall Fuller was able to win a Super Bowl during his tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs. Now that he is back in Washington, he can help turn this defense around. The Redskins cut Josh Norman recently and need a lot of help in their secondary.
The Redskins waited until the end of the first day of free agency before they were able to make a splash in free agency. Coach Ron Rivera and the defensive coordinator, Jack Del Rio, will certainly be happy to have a good corner to help bolster this struggling defense.
The defensive has some talent on paper. It’s up to the new coaching staff to put it all together in 2020 and beyond.
