The Miami Dolphins continue to make moves in the offseason. The Dolphins have signed undrafted free agent, linebacker, Kylan Johnson.
Miami Dolphins Sign UDFA Kylan Johnson
Kylan Johnson played four seasons at the University of Miami before transferring to The Unversity of Pittsburgh. Johnson will be able to compete for a backup linebacker position on the Dolphins. The Dolphins added linebacker Kyle Van Noy, Elandon Roberts, and resigned Vince Biegel. Johnson will have to compete hard to be able to make the 53 man roster.
In his senior season, Johnson racked up seven sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 55 tackles. Johnson is a skilled pass rusher at the linebacker position and is exactly the type of linebacker the Miami Dolphins want on the roster. Overall, this was a good move made by the Dolphins, which allows them to have more linebacker depth.
