Training Camp To Be Held At Team Facilities

Training Camp to be held at team facilities. As you know, this year has been really abnormal as the Coronavirus pandemic has changed how we run our lives. So far, many sports had to postpone their seasons and the NFL has held the 2020 NFL Draft virtually and canceled all activities during the offseason.

Training Camp

In the NFL.com report, where it was first reported by NFL insider Mike Garafolo, NFL teams must hold training camp at their team facilities instead of having it at their normal training camp locations.

Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the National Football League, released a statement regarding the change in location for this year. In part, he said:

“We believe that each of these steps will enhance our ability to protect the health and safety of players and your football staff and are consistent with a sound approach to risk management in the current environment.”

Also, changing for 2020 is the removal of joint team practices. If teams want to hold a joint practice, they must first get it cleared by the NFLPA medical task force. However, at this time it does not look good to do that right now.
