Nwaba brings another swingman with a seven foot plus wingspan who before injuries ended his year was shooting .429 from 3-point range.
An outstanding defensive player who ranked top five amongst players who played in half of their team games before his Achilles injury.
Rockets reach agreement on a deal for wing David Nwaba, source confirmed. @ShamsCharania first. Nwaba, outstanding defensively, is out w/ Achilles injury. Made career-best 42.9 % of 3s with Nets last season. An interesting prospect for 20-21, especially with late start of season.

For the month of December he saw 16.7 minutes of action per contest in which he averaged 8.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks on 48.2 percent shooting from the field and 40.9 percent from distance.
Nwaba will sit out the rest of the season recovering from his injury but will be a player to watch going into next year. With the possibility of an Eric Gordon trade, Nwaba would give the Houston Rockets another player in the mold of Robert Covington a true 3-D player.
