The Indian Tigress remains undefeated at 4-0, dominating Jomary Torres from the opening bell. Phogat took the fight to the ground quickly, established control, and rained down ground and pound until the referee mercifully stepped in to end it all in the first round.

This loss extends Toress’ losing streak to five.

Radzuan returns to the Winners Column in a Close Back-and-Forth

JIhin Radzuan attempts submission via ONE Championship.

The late addition to the card saw exciting back-and-forth action throughout all three rounds in a classic grappler versus striker bout. Bi Nguyen was active in her stand-up while Jihin Radzuan showcased how to stay offensive from your back.

This was a difficult fight to score but in the end, all three judges saw it for the Shadow Cat to the shock of Killer Bee.

Masunyane Headkick KOs Rene Catalan

Bokang Masunyane kicks Rene Catalan via ONE Championship.

The undefeated Bokang Masunyane shocks the #3 Strawweight Rene Catalan with a head kick in just the first minute of the first round knocking him out cold.

This is a candidate for KO of the night as well as one the fastest KOs in organization history at 37 seconds.

Souwer Performs a Masterclass on Chunyu

Andy Souwer punches Zhang Chunyu via ONE Championship.

Though Souwer failed to live up to his promise of knocking out his opponent in the third there was no question of who was the better fighter. Zhang Chunyu was game enough but bit off more than he could chew with this fight.

At no point was the result of the fight in question and Souwer won via Unanimous Decision.

What was supposed to be his shot for a world title almost turned into a night of disaster for Marat Aygun. A surprise knockdown in the second round put the Turk behind on the scorecards, increasing the importance of the third round.

Fortunately for him Anderson Silva seemed to check out mentally, allowing The Butcher to tee off and dominate on activity alone. Aygun won via Unanimous Decision.

Tonon Dominates Matsushima On The Ground

Garry Tonon via South China Morning Post.

Though he failed to finish the #3 Featherweight, #5 Garry Tonon dominated the first two rounds on the ground, threatening a rear naked choke almost throughout the entire ten minutes.

The Japanese fighter couldn’t get his game plan going at any point in the fight and Tonon won via Unanimous Decision.

Grigorian Survives Early Scare with Body Shot KO

Marat Grigorian via Asian MMA.

The first round of the Main Event was a strange affair where the Armenian Kickboxing legend didn’t seem to want to get out of first gear. This allowed Kondratev to tee off and eventually score a knockdown in the dying seconds of the first round.

This woke Grigorian up who began trading shots in the second round before landing a body shot that made his opponent sit down and not get up again.

The ONE: Big Bang results didn’t feature many upsets as most of the fighters performed as expected. The lowered stakes of this card is a direct result of all the unfortunate last minute changes, but everything moves on.

See you all next week for ONE: Big Bang II.
