Matt Brown announced he is removed from UFC Vegas 44 due to COVID-19 via his social media after he tested positive for the virus. The 40-year-old veteran Brown, also revealed that he’s symptomatic. Currently, there has been no update on if his scheduled opponent Bryan Barberena will remain on the card or himself be removed.
UFC Vegas 44 will place Saturday, Dec. 4 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and streams on ESPN/ESPN+.

Brown later followed up with a tweet describing his current effects from the Covid.
I was sick af over the weekend but feel better for the most part now. Lost smell today. Did a jog outside today and lungs burned some I thought maybe it was just the cold air but maybe I’m still sick. I’ll get over it quickly and go from there
