The Toronto Blue Jays released their 2020, 60-game schedule today. The Blue Jays will start their season July 24 against Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field. The home opener for the Blue Jays will be on July 29 in the latter half of a four-game series against the Washington Nationals.
Blue Jays Release 2020 60-Game Schedule
As of now, the Jays still do not know where their home games will be played.
#BlueJays get AL East rivals 10 times each, and then 6 with #Phillies, 4 with #Nationals and #Marlins, and 3 each with #Braves and Marcus Stroman's #Mets (Sept. 11-13 at home).

Tough Start
Toronto will have a tough start to their schedule. In their first 20 games, Toronto will play 18 games against legitimate playoff contenders. After facing the Rays, the Blue Jays will travel to Washington to face the reigning World Series champs. Then, after a split home-away series, will host the Phillies.
Following the home stretch, Toronto will travel to Atlanta and Boston. The only breather in this stretch is a two game home stead against the Marlins.
Finishing Tough
September will be a true test. Following the Marlins, the Blue Jays will face Boston for a four game series and the Yankees in a three game series. Marcus Stroman will return with the Mets to face the Jays on September 11 at home, then it will be back to Yankees stadium.
In total, the Blue Jays will face the Yankees 10 times in September.
Nate Pearson

On the mind of every Blue Jays’ fan, is Nate Pearson. With no Triple-A season, the only reps Pearson will get will be in the Show.
GM Ross Atkins says his focus is on “what’s going to be best for his (Pearson’s) development.”
Will top Blue Jays prospect Nate Pearson break camp with the team later this month? Ross Atkins says Jays love Pearson's work ethic & preparation, will be focused on "what's going to be best for his development"

When asked about Pearson being used in relief. Atkins staid, “I don’t think we’ll consider that for Nate.”
If Pearson does not make the Opening Day 30 man roster, he could be added to the 28 man roster to face the Marlins on August 11 or 12. However, this depends on a service time agreement between the MLB and MLBPA. Neither have come to an agreement yet. The MLB and MLBPA have yet to come to an agreement on service time.
