Rockets Player Leaves for Family Emergency

According to multiple reports Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers has left the bubble due to a family emergency.

Upon Rivers’ return, he will have to quarantine between four to ten days. It can be as little as four if the player has tested negative for the last seven days. Rivers is hoping to return sometime this weekend.

Rivers has become a fan favorite since signing with the Rockets in December of 2018. Rivers has provided instant offense along with strong on the ball defense off the bench. In one-plus season Rivers has averaged over 8.5 points a game and almost 4 assist.

With Rivers, absent players like Chris Clemons and DeMarre Carroll may see more time in the Rockets scrimmage tonight. The Houston Rockets take on the Toronto Raptors at 6:30 CT tonight on NBATV in their first action in several months
