In the third edition of Overtime Heroics baseball podcast, “Cheap Seats Chatter,” host Ken Allison and Danny Podolsky cover the last week’s worth of NL and AL Central news. We’ve reached that point in the 60-day season and we’re now in the final countdown.

In addition to the AL and NL standings, playoff hopefuls and CY Young/MVP candidates, other big news from MLB was discussed.

The baseball world was stunned twice in the last few days when Hall of Famer Tom Seaver passed away, then on Sunday, Hall of Famer Lou Brock also died.

The guys also discussed an MLB fundraiser for Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the wake of Hurrican Laura. Brewers’ utilityman Jace Peterson and Wade LeBlanc (Orioles) sponsored the fundraiser.
