2021 Los Angeles Dodgers Re-Sign Blake Treinen

Today the 2021 Los Angeles Dodgers re-signed relief pitcher Blake Treinen. The new contract is for two years and 17 million dollars. He is eligible for an eight-million dollar club option in 2023. This was a surprising move but this will be a cheap move for what they needed. They will also have room for another big-name player.

With the signing of Treinen, the 2021 Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen is looking very good. The Dodgers just signed Tommy Kahnle to a two-year deal in December after having Tommy John surgery in August. Those two will be dynamic setup relievers.

Will the 2021 Los Angeles Dodgers Go After Liam Hendricks

There is a very good possibility the Dodgers will not go after Liam Hendricks anymore. The money is there to get them but with the Yankees sitting on signing DJ LeMahieu, it is possible to see him come over instead.

Brad Hand is an excellent cheaper route if the Dodgers go after a closer. The market looks ugly for relievers that"s why Treinen got a team-friendly offer. Brad Hand will be looking for the same. The Dodgers could get him at a very good price.
